Successful communication for start-ups – Part 2. Speak my language
If you’re pitching a start-up, your main site is probably in English. But what kind of English? English for investors, the press, B2B partners or for B2C visitors?
Use the language of the people you want to be talking to. Crafting your language to a specific audience shows empathy. It shows you understand your market – with the added bonus of shutting out the people you don’t need or want to be interested in your product.
Send your site URL to startups@amlot.com and we’ll see if we can work out who your site is for.
